Lie Down In The Dream honors the life of this city that is so often overlooked. When people think of Philadelphia, they do not often think of flowers and earth. However, many who live here know the vibrant, strange beauty this place holds. Using plastic and earth collected from Kensington, a blanket of crocheted plastic supports a field of earth-flowers. Together, plastic and earth cultivate and bring attention to these moments of forgotten beauty.
